Das Dream, das ich aktuell spiele, ist ein Sonderbau aus 2022, den Achim damals speziell auf meine Anforderungen gebaut hat (ob es definitiv ein Dream ist, das da als Grundmodell hergehalten hat, weiß ich nicht 100% ). Das Holz ist super kontrolliert und ich spekuliere mal aufgrund der harten Bubinga Aussenfurniere auch so effektiv mit der LN ox. Du kannst dich ja mal mit Achim in Verbindung setzen, ob mein Sonderbau (den Aufbau müsste Achim ja irgendwo gespeichert haben) für dich in Frage kommt.

Hello, I'm Kenneth from Norway.
I ordered this blade from Achim and finally tried it. For the blade I have to say wow, what a masterpiece. Just like Achim says, it feels like a part of my hand. Very nice craftsmanship. So light and yet so powerful. I'm not so used to balsa blades so of course I make some mistakes and need to adjust things a bit but my main impression is a lot of power but still a lot of control and spin generation on the forehand side with Zyre 2.5mm. For the backhand side I'm using Spinlord Dornenglanz X ox at the moment. Not sure if it's the rubber of my choice but at least it's slow. The blade is very controlled here and I feel I can do everything with it at the table but actually, with the Dornenglanz X I think maybe chopping from distance is the best because the pimples are quite grippy. Here is a video from my second training with this new setup. As I said, this kind of blade is new to me so not everything is in the table. Yet
I also want to send a big thanks to Achim for the super service when ordering the blade.

You describe exactly what the Turbo 82 is built for: power and control together, and the feeling of a blade that becomes part of your hand. That is not marketing — that is the result of 26 years of craftsmanship.

You are right that balsa blades need some adjustment time. As I always say: give it at least 10–14 hours of training before making a final judgement. The blade will reward your patience.

Regarding your backhand setup: the Dornenglanz X OX is a good choice for controlled play at the table. For chopping from distance it can work well too, as you noticed. If you want to explore other options later, feel free to contact me directly.

Ja, natürlich, weil das System auch ohne E4 viel durchschlagskräftiger ist. E 4 macht nicht überall Sinn.

Es macht mehr Sinn bei linearen Hölzern, die dünner sind und mehr Kraft durch den Kleber selbst benötigen.

Ein dickes Holz macht Eigenkatapult. Da braucht man kein E 4
